Are You ALL IN?

you have to be all-in for your business
Building a business in network marketing requires you to be ALL-IN. All in isn’t about working 24/7. Many people start their networking or home business on a very part-time basis. It’s not how much time you spend, but your attitude and having a consistent process or system in place for your business, that is critical to your success. It doesn’t happen by accident.

A – Acquire Customers and Business Partners

These are the basic tenets of network marketing, getting everyone you know in the world on your product, service, or opportunity. It’s the foundation of businesses all over. Being consistent in your marketing and recruiting will solve all your business building problems. Being committed to grow your own business volume will promote you to be an example for the business partners you bring in to do the same.

L – Launch Your Customers and Business Partners

This is a big step that many network marketers miss. Recruiting without a launching system means NOTHING in your business! Not launching your people is a big factor in contributing to that dreaded MLM graveyard. For example, in my health and wellness business, I provide my new business partners a startup folder with tips and training right when they sign up, and I review it with them. It’s a track to run on that they will duplicate with their team. I also go over their connection to the company; logging in on their business portal, setting up how to get paid, where to go for marketing and learning materials, account, etc. Lastly, I make communication a big deal. I contact them daily and set the expectation that they should contact me with any questions or challenges. Urgency equals success; so it is critical to get them running right away. We can’t assume that just because someone signs up for your opportunity they know what they’re doing and will just take off without you. You owe it to yourself and to your new business partners to walk them through at least the first 30 days because, more often than not, they are either very new or they’ve built up some bad habits and you need to guide them to a successful process so that your opportunity doesn’t become “just another thing” they tried and didn’t work. Do you want to retire in ten years or in a couple years?
How do you launch a customer? Simply show them how to use your product or service. Make is easy and enjoyable for them. Show them how to log in to their customer account and how to change their settings, reorder products, enhance their services. And lastly, check in on them and make yourself available to them to make sure they are getting everything they can. Build that relationship, and you’ll have an endless stream of referrals.

L – Leave Negativity Behind

What you think about on a day-to-day basis becomes our maximum potential. Negativity spreads like a disease. You’re trying to grow your business. Growth is positive, and so you must be, too, to keep that momentum turning in the right direction. If somebody comes to you with a problem, don’t feed into it or let it rent space in your head. Find an answer, or something positive and encouraging to take away. Continue to dedicate time each day to personal development by reading a book or listening to audio books.

I – Intentional Thinking

No matter what anyone says, it takes effort and a plan to grow your business. Many people start their own home business to change their financial outlook, to attain financial freedom. You can make a little extra money without a plan, but attaining that life-altering income takes work and intention. The business partners who join you also need to see your dogged determination. They will look to you and be inspired, following what you do. Leadership isn’t about managing, but teaching and being the example for your team. We tend to worry about everyone else’s activity when we’re not busy; that’s called “management mode.” But, if we ourselves are active, our business partners see this and are more encouraged. Would you rather build a business full of people all intentionally working together toward the same goal, or a group of people scattered in different directions.

N – Next Level… Rank Up!

If you’re not moving up in rank, then you’re going nowhere. You need always to look ahead at your next challenge and go for it. Is it a pin level advancement? A monetary milestone? A contest? If you’re not going for something, neither will your team. When that happens, all progress stops. Just like a wheel, it is harder to get it to start moving, but when it moves it becomes easier to keep going. Thus, keeping your eyes on the next level will keep you moving in your business.

When you put these steps together, a consistent process of handling your day by sharing your product or service and opportunity, a commitment to start customers and business partners on the right foot, maintain a positive mindset, plan your success, and keep looking at your next achievement, you’ll turn your business into a lifestyle that gives you financial and time freedom.

Repeat this process – stick to it – and stay plugged in.
